ACOUSTIC ARCHTOP: 1930S-1970S MFG.

Gretsch made at least two other models (an un-named archtop and a model called the Jet 21), and information is very scarce on them. Many Gretsch acoustic guitars could be special ordered in a tenor version. Synchromatic models are the most popular/collectible Gretsch acoustic archtops - especially models with the "cat's-eye" soundholes. Crumbling and breaking binding is a very common problem with many Gretsch guitars and to find all original models with binding intact is nearly impossible.
