- carved spruce top, arched maple back, maple sides, two f-holes, four-ply top and back body binding, three-piece maple neck, 14/20-fret bound ebony fingerboard with notched diamond inlays, rosewood covered headstock with a vertical floral inlay, pearl scroll logo placed diagonally, and three-per-side tuners, non adj. ebony bridge, trapeze tailpiece, dark red/golden amber Sunburst finish 16 in. body width, 24.5 in. scale, mfg. 1933-39.
In 1936, an adj. maple bridge and a black plastic veneer headstock with a center dip style was introduced.
