- single round cutaway body, arched spruce top, maple back/sides, two f-holes, triple-bound top and back, maple neck, 21-fret bound ebony fingerboard with pearloid hump top and black/white/black slash block inlay, triple-bound black face headstock with "Synchromatic" logo, three-per-side gold tuners, adj. ebony stairstep bridge, "G" logo trapeze tailpiece, triple-bound raised pickguard, gold hardware, available in Natural (6039) or Sunburst (6038) finish, 17 in. body width, mfg. 1955-1969.
This model is similar to the Eldorado, except has a smaller body and "Synchromatic " logo on the headstock. In 1959 or 1960, thumbprint fingerboard inlays replaced humptop inlays. By 1968, Natural finish was disc.
