GRETSCH TK-300 MODEL 7625 Description
- unique offset double cutaway solid maple body, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with no inlays, "hockey stick"-style headstock with large vertical Grestch logo and six-on-one-side tuners, Terminator bridge with individual string adj., large white pickguard, two humbucker pickups (bridge pickup is mounted diagonally), two numbered knobs (v, tone), three-way pickup selector switch, chrome hardware, available in Natural (Model 7625) or Red (Model 7624) finish, 12 in. body width, 1.625 in. body depth, 24.5 in. scale, mfg. 1977-1981.
The TK-300 is probably the oddest-looking Grestch guitar that exists. The entire guitar looks as though it was randomly constructed with features such as the pickups, strap button, and headstock serving no practical purpose.
