- single sharp cutaway 3/4 size hollow body, single-bound maple body, two f-holes, maple neck, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlay, single-bound blackface headstock with logo inlay, three-per-side tuners with plastic buttons, adj. rosewood bridge, "G" logo trapeze tailpiece, raised black pickguard with logo, single DeArmond pickup, two knobs (v, tone), chrome hardware, available in Ivory top with Green or Black body, sides, and neck finish, 13 in. body width, mfg. 1957-1961.

In 1960, a single round cutaway, HiLo'Tron pickup, and a red truss rod cover were introduced.
