In 1954, Gibson introduced the second version of the GA-20 and changed to a two-tone brown covering with a rectangle brown speaker grille, the logo "Gibson 20" moved above the grille, and dimensions of 20 in. wide, 16 in. tall, 8.625 in. deep, and 24 lbs. In 1958, the cabinet was changed slightly to a different two-tone brown covering, only the "Gibson" logo appeared on the front, and the dimensions changed to 20 in. wide, 16 in. tall, 9 in. deep, and 24 lbs. In 1960, the name Crest was added to GA-20 and the cabinet changed again to a tweed covering with a brown grille and the "Gibson" logo in the upper right corner.
