- offset hourglass Explorer-style mahogany body, AA figured maple top with beveled edges, set Mahogany neck, 22-fret bound ebony fingerboard with pearl split block inlays and gold fretwire, hockey stick-style headstock with a unique Gibson logo that was designed by Ted McCarty, six-on-one-side Steinberger gearless tuners, tune-o-matic bridge, stop tailpiece, no pickguard, two '57 Classic covered humbucker pickups, three black top hat knobs with gold inserts (two v, tone), three-way pickup switch on upper treble bout, jack on side of guitar, gold hardware, available in Brimstone Burst finish, 24.75 in. scale, 1.695 in. nut width, limited edition with a total production of 1,000 guitars, mfg. 2008 only.
