GRETSCH SYNCHROMATIC JUMBO 125F (MODEL 6021) Description
- spruce top, figured maple arched back and sides, triangle soundhole with rosette, mulitple bound top and back, maple neck, 14/21-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlay, adj. rosewood bridge with triangular base, slanted metal string anchor plate, black face headstock with "Synchromatic" inlay above the A and B string tuner posts, three-per-side diecast tuners, tortoiseshell pickguard, available in Natural top, Sunburst back and side finish, 17 in. body width, 26 in. scale, mfg. 1947-1954.
Some models were finished in White with tortoiseshell binding all around, other models came with single body binding. This model was renamed into two different models in 1955: The Rancher and the Town and Country (see listings).
