- slope-shouldered dreadnought 12-fret body style, solid spruce top, Brazilian rosewood (1954-1969) or Indian rosewood (1969-1993) back and sides, round soundhole with three-stripe rosette (5/9/5 grouping), five-ply top ivoroid (1954-1966) or non-grained white (1966-1993) binding, three-ply back binding with ivoroid (1954-1966) or non-grained white (1966-1993) outer layer, wide chainlink backstrip, 12/20-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, slotted headstock with raised gold foil logo, three-per-side open-style chrome tuners, ebony bridge, tortoise (1954-1966) or black (1966-1993) pickguard, available in Natural finish, 25.4 in. scale, available as a Special Order, total production of 1,789 instruments, mfg. 1967-1993.
