- Grand Concert body style, spruce top, Brazilian rosewood (1898-1969) or Indian rosewood (1969-1995) back/sides, round soundhole with herringbone rosette (1898-1947, three stripes with 5/herringbone/5 grouping) or regular rosette (1/9/1 grouping), five-ply top binding, two-ply back binding with rosewood (1898-1932), black (1932-36, 1966-1995), or tortoise (1936-1966) outer layer, herringbone backstripe (1898-1947), cedar (1898-1916) or mahogany (1898-1916) neck, 12/19-fret unbound ebony (1898-1947) or rosewood (1947-1995) fingerboard with slotted diamond (1898-1944) or pearl dot (1944-1995) inlays, slotted headstock (1898-1990) or solid headstock (1990-95) with rosewood overlay and screened logo, three-per-side open-style chrome tuners with pearl knobs (1898-1990) or regular tuners (1990-95), rectangular (1898-1929) or belly (1929-1995) ebony (1898-1947) or rosewood (1947-1995) bridge, black bridge pins with white dots, no pickguard (1898-1932), tortoise pickguard (1932-1966), or black pickguard (1966-1995), available in Natural finish, 24.9 in. scale, available as a Special Order, mfg. 1898-1995.
Martin also produced one reissue model with Brazilian rosewood back and sides (Model 00-21B, 1985 only), three models strung for nylon strings (Model 00-21G, 1937-38), three Hawaiian models (Model 00-21H, 1914, 1952, and 1955), and two tenor models (Model 00-21T, 1934 only).
