GIBSON Flying V 83 (1983-1984 Mfg.) Description

- similar to the Flying V - No Pickguard Model (1981-1989 Mfg.), except has an alder body, different tune-o-matic bridge, and a control layout that is similar to "The V," available in Alpine White, Ebony, Electric Blue, Candy Apple Red, Ivory, Night Violet, Plum Wineburst, Red, or Silver Sky finish, mfg. 1983-84.

This model is almost identical to the Flying V and there is speculation that it actually replaced the Flying V (No Pickguard model) for a short while. Both guitars were listed in the price list at the same price.
