- arched carved spruce top, oval soundhole, wooden inlay rosette, raised tortoiseshell pickguard, bound soundhole/body, maple back/sides, mahogany neck, 12/20-fret bound ebony pointed fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, ebony bridge/trapeze tailpiece with black pins, bound blackface peghead with pearl logo inlay, three-per-side tuners with buttons, available in Black finish, mfg. 1912-1956.
16.25 in. by 20.25 in. body. In 1914, three-ring rosette, Mahogany finish replaced original part/design, Black and Orange finishes became an option. In 1918, Mahogany Sunburst finish replaced previous part/design. By 1920, rosette and peghead logo inlay were redesigned. In 1923, tailpiece pins were removed. In 1927, rosette was redesigned. In 1928, round soundhole 14/20-fret unbound fingerboard, unbound peghead replaced original part/design, two-ring rosette, redesigned peghead logo replaced previous part/design. By 1933, bound fingerboard replaced previous part/design, pearl diamond peghead inlay was added. In 1935, f-holes, bound pickguard, redesigned fingerboard inlay, redesigned trapeze tailpiece, bound peghead with lily inlay replaced previous part/design. In 1937, unbound pickguard replaced previous part/design, round soundhole was an option.
In 1940, Natural finish was an option. In 1941, unbound peghead replaced previous part/design. In 1946, bound pickguard, multi-bound body replaced previous part/design. In 1947, laminated pickguard, parallelogram fingerboard inlay replaced previous part/design.
