- single rounded cutaway jumbo body, solid Sitka spruce top, arched laminated maple back, maple sides, round soundhole with two multi-stripe rings rosette, single-ply body binding, maple neck, 20-fret unbound rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, blackface headstock with screened logo, three-per-side nickel or gold tuners, rosewood bridge with upper belly and white pins, tortoise pickguard, piezo pickup with three-band EQ, available in Antique Ebony, Antique Natural, Cherry, Ivory, Vintage Cherry, or Vintage Sunburst finish, 24.75 in. scale, standard hardshell case included, mfg. 1992-95.
In 1993, a double cutaway model was offered and the guitar was renamed the EAS Standard.
