- double round cutaway bound maple body, two f-holes, single-ply bound top and back, maple neck, 22-fret bound fingerboard with thumbnail inlay, dot inlay above the 12th fret, blackface headstock with logo inlay and mounted nameplate, three-per-side tuners, tuning fork roller bridge, "G" logo Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, raised silver pickguard with logo, two covered pickups, one knob on upper treble bout, two knobs and one three-way switch on lower treble bout, two three-way switches on lower bass, chrome hardware, available in Black (Model 6101) or Sunburst (Model 6100) finish, 16 in. body width, 2 in. body depth, 24.5 in. scale, mfg. 1967-1972.

Sunburst finish (Model 6100) was only available between 1967 and 1970.
