- 50W, Yamaha plastic cone non-circular speaker, tube chassis, preamp: 2 X 7025, 12AT7, power: 2 X 6L6, 5U4 rectifier, two channels (bass and normal), silverface control panel, four input jacks (two per channel), seven silver-top knobs (Norm: v, b, t, Vibrato: v, b, t, s, i, r), bright switches, black tolex covering, silver grille, mfg. 1969-1971.
The Bantam Bass was replaced by the Bassman Ten in 1972. This amp featured a very oddly-shaped speaker made by Yamaha (see picture). It is very rare to find a replacement speaker and working Bantam amps with original speakers are very rare in today's market.
