VOX SCORPION (V116) Description
- 60W, 4-10 in. Vox Gold Bulldog speakers, guitar combo, solid-state chassis, two channels, reverb, tremolo, top/rear mounted control panel, four input jacks (two per channel), six top panel black knobs (Ch. 1: v, t, b, Ch. 2: v, t, b), power switch, rear panel: three knobs (r, trem s, trem depth), footswitch jack, aux. outlet, line reverse, E tuner, black covering, brown diagonal grille, removable casters, mfg. 1968-69.
The Scorpion appears that it was built out of parts from already existing Vox amplifiers. The cabinet is the same as the Royal Guardsman and the chassis is the same as the Berkeley III.
