VOX ESSEX BASS (V-4/V1041/V1042/V1043) Description
- 35W (V-4/V-1041/V-1042) or 50W (V-1043), 2-12 in. Vox Bulldog bass speakers, bass combo, solid-state chassis, single channel, top mounted control panel, two input jacks, two controls (v, Tone-X), power switch, line reverse switch, black covering, brown diagonal grille, chrome roller stand and single-button footswitch for Tone-X control (V-1042/V-1043 only) included, mfg. 1965-68.
Models V-4 and V-1041 are identical electronically. The Model V-1042 featured a single-button footswitch to activiate the Tone-X control, and the Model V-1043 boosted the output to 50W.
