- offset double cutaway maple body, carved top, black pickguard, maple neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlay, fixed bridge, chrome hardware, single coil horseshoe pickup, volume/tone control, two-position switch, available in Blonde finish, mfg. 1954-59.
These instruments had both set and bolt-on necks. According to Rickenbacker's own records, there were quite a few variations of this model produced. These models were listed in the catalog until 1964 and in the price list until 1969 as having cresting wave style bodies, though none were ever produced.
