- tulip style maple body, gold pickguard, through-body maple neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlay, covered pickup, volume/tone control, two-position switch, available in Blue Green, Golden, or Jet Black finish, mfg. 1956-58.
This was the first through-body neck construction that Rickenbacker manufactured. In 1957, an extra switch was added.
