- dreadnought 14-fret-style body, solid Englemann spruce top, solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, standard X scalloped forward-shifted bracing, round soundhole with a Style 45 three-ring rosette (5/9/5 grouping with a large middle ring of abalone pearl), grained ivoroid binding, bold herringbone top inlay, B/W Boltaron back and side inlays, select hardwood neck, 14/20-fret ebony fingerboard with custom assorted car-related pearl inlays and 20th-fret Tom and Ray signatures inlay, ebony headstock overlay with Click and Clack cartoon inlay and large old style logo, three-per-side chrome Gotoh tuners with car themed engraved knobs, ebony belly bridge, ebony bridge pins with abalone dots, black pickguard with Car Talk credits artwork, two labels with one signed by Tom and Ray Magliozzi and numbered in sequence (no total) and the other with a photo of the Magliozzis, special case with nickel hardware and Car Talk license plate included, 25.4 in. scale, mfg. summer 2008-mid-2010.
This model honors Tom and Ray Magliozzi who perform a show on National Public Radio and are known as Click and Clack, the Tappett Brothers.
