MARTIN 000-28V Description
- similar to the 000-28, except has Brazilian rosewood back and sides, scalloped bracing, ivoroid binding, herringbone top purfling, zigzag back stripe, V-shaped neck, chrome tuners, white bridge pins with tortoise dots, and a tortoise pickguard, Natural finish with Aging Toner top, total production of 17 instruments, mfg. 1983-84.
The 000-28V was one of the first guitars Martin produced based on "Vintage specifications," and was one of the forerunners to the Vintage Series Martin would release several years later.
