- concert body style, solid spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, round soundhole with three-stripe rosette (5/9/5 grouping), six-ply top binding with ivory (1913-1918) or ivoroid (1918-1931) outer layer, three-ply back binding with ivory (1913-1918) or ivoroid (1918-1931) outer layer, wide white backstripe surrounded by smaller black and white lines, cedar (1913-16) or mahogany (1916-1931) 12/19-fret ivory (1913-1918) or ivoroid (1918-1931) bound ebony fingerboard, ivory (1913-1918) or ivoroid (1918-1931) bound slotted headstock, three-per-side open-style tuners, available in Natural finish, total production of 17 guitars, mfg. 1913-1931.
Some 0-44s may have "Soloist" inlaid on the headstock. There were also a few 0-44s specially made for Vahdah Olcott-Bickford that have non-herringbone-style top and back binding and have "Olcott-Bickford Artist Model" inlaid on the headstock.
