- dreadnought style, solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides, round soundhole, five-stripe bound body/rosette, three-piece mahogany neck, 14/20-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, pearl Chesterfield/logo peghead inlay, three-per-side chrome tuners, ebony bridge with white black dot pins, tortoiseshell pickguard, available in Natural or Antique Burst finish, mfg. 1963-1993.
In 1968, the Chesterfield headstock inlay was introduced. In 1974, a one-piece mahogany neck was introduced. In 1975, an ebony bridge was introduced. In 1987, scalloped bracing and a snakehead headstock was introduced.
