GUILD A-50 GRANADA/CORDOBA Description
- non-cutaway bound hollow body, laminated arched spruce top, two f-holes, laminated maple back and sides, three-piece mahogany/maple neck, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, blackface peghead with screened logo, three-per-side nickel tuners, raised black pickguard, adjustable rosewood bridge/trapeze tailpiece, available in Sunburst finish, 16.25 in. body width, 24.75 in. scale, mfg. 1956-1972.
In 1959, a one-piece mahogany neck was introduced and Blonde finish became available (Model A-50B). In 1961 the A-50 Granada was renamed the A-50 Cordoba.
