- single cutaway Les Paul-style body based on Slash's #1 Les Paul, solid mahogany body, maple top, single-ply cream binding, one-piece mahogany neck with short neck tenon, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with acrylic trapezoidal inlays, black headstock overlay with pearl logo and gold "Les Paul Model" inscribing, Tone Pros Nashville tune-o-matic bridge, Tone Pros light stop tailpiece, no pickguard, two Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro II humbucker pickups, four gold top hat knobs (two v, two tone), three-way pickup switch on the upper bass bout, nickel hardware, available in Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish, 24.75 in. scale, custom case, custom care kit, and certificate of authenticity included, limited edition run of 400 instruments, mfg. spring 2008 only.
The serial number on the Slash VOS reads SVOS XXX with numbers ranging from 1 to 400. 200 were sold in the U.S. and another 200 to the U.K.
