In 1959, a baritone pushbutton control was added, and Black finish was introduced. In 1960, a string mute was added, right angle Kluson tuners were introduced, redesigned pickup replaced original pickup, and Cherry finish was introduced. Earliest models may have a single coil pickup with a brown cover.
