- V-shaped Flying V body based on the custom Flying V Jimi Hendrix played during the Rainbow Bridge and Isle of Wight concerts in 1970, mahogany body, mahogany neck, 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl split triangle inlays, upside-down V-shaped headstock with gold "Hall of Fame" logo decal on backside and vertical pearl Gibson logo, truss rod cover with "Limited Edition XXX of 400," three-per-side tuners, tune-o-matic bridge, stop tailpiece, large white pickguard with Jimi Hendrix gold engraved signature to the left of the bridge, two humbucker pickups, three knobs (two v, tone) mounted in a triangular pattern, three-way pickup switch, gold hardware, available in Ebony finish, 400 mfg. 1991-93, 25 mfg. 1995.
400 of these guitars were produced originally, and RCA ran a promotion in 1995 with a special run of 25 additional guitars.
