This is the same model as the GA-40T Les Paul, but Gibson changed the name of it when they stopped using the Les Paul brand on their products (see the Gibson Les Paul Guitar). Shipping totals reflect the total number shipped from the start of 1962 (regardless if GA-40T Les Paul models were still shipped into 1962). Although this amp was shipped through 1967, it doesn't appear that it adopted the style between 1965 and 1967 that featured black covering, a silver grille, and front white control panel.
