GIBSON GA-30RVT INVADER Description
- 25W, 1-12 in. and 1-10 in. speakers, guitar combo, nine-tube chassis, preamp: 4 X 6EU7, 2 X 12AU7, power: 2 X 7591, rectifier: 0A2/5AR4, two channels, top silver control panel, four inputs (two per channel), eight black and silver knobs (1962-late 1963: Ch. 1: v, tone, Ch. 2: v, tone, r, depth, freq., power), or 10 knobs (late 1963-67: Ch. 1: v, t, b, Ch. 2: v, t, b, r, depth, freq., power), available in Indian Brown covering with a Spanish Crush brown grille, 2,601 shipped, mfg. 1962-67.
In late 1963, independent volume and bass tone controls were introduced for each channel. Although this amp was introduced in 1962 and shipped through 1967, it doesn't appear that it was produced in tweed covering nor did it adopt the style between 1965 and 1967 that featured black alligator covering, a silver grille, and front white control panel.
