The EH-100 changed almost every year that it was in production and there are at least five distinct versions of it. In mid-1937, the chassis was increased to five tubes, a microphone input replaced one instrument input, a volume control was added, and the covering was changed to a tan aeroplane cloth with vertical, dark stripes. In mid-1938, the chassis was increased to six tubes, and the covering was changed to a brown aeroplane cloth with horizontal, yellow stripes. In mid-1939, the covering was changed to a green/gray cloth with horizontal white stripes. In mid-1940, the cabinet was changed to be narrower (12 in.) but taller (14.75 in.) with an open back and the top part of the amp seperated from the chassis, the covering was changed to a wood natural mahogany finish (most were covered in the gray/green cloth).
