This model was produced in Nashville until 2002 when production moved to Montana through 2005. Approximately the first 1,000 instruments were stamped with a unique serial number consisting of a letter prefix followed by three digits. This series started with A 001, ran through A 100 then switched to B 001, ran through B 100 all the way up to K 100.
