- similar to the Kingman, except features beechwood back/sides, three-ply pickguard, block fingerboard inlay, available in injected-dye colors (primary colors of green, blue, and gold), mfg. 1966-1971.
The Wildwood finish was the result of a seven-year process in Germany where dye was injected into growing beech trees. Veneers for laminating were available after the beech trees were harvested. The value depends upon how much the guitar has faded. It will command a premium if it has little fading.
