FENDER PRINCETON (NARROW PANEL) Description
- 4.5W, 1-8 in. Jensen speaker, tube chassis, preamp: 6SL7, power: 6V6, 5Y3 rectifier, top control panel, two input jacks, two pointer knobs (v, tone), narrow panel diagonal tweed covering, brown tweed-era grille, mfg. 1954-1961.
Model 5E2 had a choke and negative loop (circa 1954/55). The choke was removed in 1956 and named the Model 5F2. This model´s cabinet was enlarged in 1956, which was also used for the Harvard. The Champ then used the old Princeton box.
