FENDER PRINCETON (BLACKFACE) Description
- 12W, 1-10 in. Jensen speaker, tube chassis, preamp: 7025, 12AX7, power: 2 X 6V6, 5Y3 rectifier, tremolo, front brownface control panel, two input jacks, five black knobs (v, t, b, s, i), ground switch on back, black tolex covering, silver grille, mfg. 1963-67.
Models produced in 1963 still have only four knobs (single tone knob), and some of these amps may still have the white knobs. In 1964 model AA964 was introduced with separate bass and treble controls. Around 1966, the Fender nameplate was put on the grille.
