FENDER JIMI HENDRIX MONTEREY (U.S. MFG.) Description
- reverse headstock, white pickguard, available in red/green psychadelic-style finish with backstage pass sticker on lower bout, mfg. 1997 only.
Only 210 instruments were built. Sources have written in to indicate that there was possibly another Hendrix Custom Shop model built circa 1993. This yet-uncomfirmed model was similar to the 1980 Hendrix model, except the '93 version had a maple cap neck and Transition style logo on the headstock.
