EPIPHONE Windsor Special Description

- similar to the Windsor, except has a scroll style body, mfg. 1934-1949.

In 1936, the Windsor Special was renamed the Windsor when the other Windsor was discontinued and featured flamed maple on the back and sides and no checkered inlays. In 1939 f-holes with the squared edges were introduced, the pickguard went around the bridge, the fingerboard was changed to rosewood with slotted-block inlays, and the headstock featured a vine inlay.
