- 16.375 in. body width, thin hollow body, 25.5 in. scale, dot fingerboard inlay, rosewood bridge/trapeze tailpiece, tortoise pickguard, metal peghead logo plate, P-90 pickup, volume/tone controls, available in Sunburst finish, mfg. 1958-1970.
In 1959, a P-90 pickup was introduced. In 1961, Royal Burgundy finish became available. In 1963, the peghead plate was removed. From 1968-1970, only Sunburst finish was available. A 3/4 size Century in 22 inch scale was available from 1961-67.
