- slightly offset double cutaway mahogany body, bound highly figured carved maple top, mahogany NTB, 24-fret bound ebony fingerboard with abalone block inlay, tune-o-matic bridge/stop tailpiece, bound black headstock overlay with pearl B.C. Rich logo inlay, three-per-side tuners, two Seymour Duncan Seth Lover humbucker pickups, four knobs (two v, two tone), three-way pickup switch, gold hardware, available in Butterscotch Sun, Cherry Sunburst, or Magenta Burst finish, 24.625 in. scale, mfg. 1998-99.
The Victor Smith model was available in two different body weights: SL (Slim Line) and HV (Heavier Weight, for those players who want a chunkier sound). The Victor Smith Commemorative is named after the early guitar pickup designer. In 1929, Smith introduced the first commercial Spanish-style electric guitar while working at the Dobro Guitar company.
