- offset double cutaway hardwood body with inward curving horns, bolt-on neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlay, six-on-one-side tuners, bridge/tremolo tailpiece, black inscribed pickguard, three Burns Split-Sonic pickups, volume/tone controls, four-way pickup switch, chrome hardware, available in Red Sunburst finish, 23.375 in. scale, mfg. 1963-64.
This instrument was built by the Burns Guitar company, and basically is a renamed Jazz Split Sound. The four notable tone settings on this model include Treble, Bass, Split-Sound, and mondo-popular Wild Dog.
