In 2011, Fender introduced the "III" Series of Blues/Hot Rod amps. Upgrades to these amps include easier to read black control panels with forward-facing text, a new Fender badge, vintage Fender "dog bone" handle, and a vintage-size jewel light.

- 15W, 1-12 in. Eminence speaker (1997-2010) or 1-12 in. Fender Special Design "Lightning Bolt" speaker by Eminence (2011-present), tube chassis, preamp: 3 X 12AX7, power: 2 X EL-84 Groove Tubes, reverb, top silver control panel, one input, FAT switch, six black pointer knobs (r, MV, m, b, t, v,), one button footswitch, narrow panel vintage cabinet, available in Black Tolex covering with a silver grille, Blonde Tolex covering with an oxblood grille, Brown Tolex covering with an oxblood grille, Surf Green with a silver grille, Texas Red with a silver grille, Tweed with a brown grille, Two-Tone Blonde/Brown Tolex covering with a wheat grille, or White Blonde Tolex covering with an oxblood grille, 31 lbs., mfg. 1997-present.

The Blues Junior lists black Tolex covering with a silver grille as standard equipment, but this amp has been produced in various other coverings including Blonde, Brown, Surf Green, and Texas Red. In 2011, the Blues Junior III was introduced and replaced the previous Blues Junior with minor differences.

Blues Junior Lacquered Tweed LTD C12N (No. 021-320-5700)

In 2011, the Hot Rod Deluxe III was introduced and replaced the previous Hot Rod Deluxe with minor differences. Fender has produced several limited editions of the Hot Rod Deluxe including one in a 3-Color Sunburst cabinet (2003/04), a natural maple cabinet (2003/04), the White Lightning with white Tolex (2006/07), the Texas Red with red Tolex covering (2008), the Emerald Green version, The Giddy Up with Brown faux tooled-leather vinyl covering and Wheat grille cloth (2014-present), and a Blonde Tolex version.

PRO JUNIOR (NO. 021-3203-000/223-0300-000)

In 1997, the covering was changed to black textured vinyl with a silver grille. It was part of the change from the Blues series to the Hot Rod series. However, the Pro Junior retained the same name. In 2011, the Pro Junior III was introduced and replaced the previous Pro Junior with minor differences.
