Fender Special Design "Lightning Bolt" speaker by Eminence (2011-present), tube chassis, preamp: 3 X 12AX7, power: 2 X EL-84 Groove Tubes, reverb, top silver control panel, one input, FAT switch, six black pointer knobs (r, MV, m, b, t, v,), one button footswitch, narrow panel vintage cabinet, available in Black Tolex covering with a silver grille, Blonde Tolex covering with an oxblood grille, Brown Tolex covering with an oxblood grille, Surf Green with a silver grille, Texas Red with a silver grille, Tweed with a brown grille, Two-Tone Blonde/Brown Tolex covering with a wheat grille, or White Blonde Tolex covering with an oxblood grille, 31 lbs., mfg. 1997-present.
The Blues Junior lists black Tolex covering with a silver grille as standard equipment, but this amp has been produced in various other coverings including Blonde, Brown, Surf Green, and Texas Red. In 2011, the Blues Junior III was introduced and replaced the previous Blues Junior with minor differences.
