- 40W, 1-12 in. Eminence speaker (1997-2010) or 1-12 in. Celestion G12P-80 speaker, tube chassis, preamp: 3 X 12AX7, power: 2 X GT 6L6, three channels, reverb, top chrome control panel, two inputs, eight black chickenhead knobs (v, drive, t, b, m, MV, r, p), channel select switches, effects loop, two button footswitch, black vinyl covering, silver grille, cover included, 45 lbs., mfg. 1997-present.
In 2011, the Hot Rod Deluxe III was introduced and replaced the previous Hot Rod Deluxe with minor differences. Fender has produced several limited editions of the Hot Rod Deluxe including one in a 3-Color Sunburst cabinet (2003/04), a natural maple cabinet (2003/04), the White Lightning with white Tolex (2006/07), the Texas Red with red Tolex covering (2008), the Emerald Green version, The Giddy Up with Brown faux tooled-leather vinyl covering and Wheat grille cloth (2014-present), and a Blonde Tolex version.
