VOX AC-30/6 Twin Top Boost Description
- similar to the AC-30/6 Twin, except has an additional treble and volume controls driven by an additional 12AX7 preamp tube, mfg. 1961-1972.
The Top Boost unit was initially an aftermarket add-on offered by Vox and the bass and treble controls were mounted on a small vertical white control panel on the back of the amplifier. Starting in 1963, the Top Boost unit became available as part of the actual control panel.
