PREMIER PREMIER 120 Description
- ~12-25W, 1-12 in. Jensen speaker, tube chassis, two channels, tremolo, top control panel, four inputs (v1, v2, tone, trem. speed), wood-grain vinyl covering, mfg. late 1950s-mid-1960s.
There are at least five variations of the Premier 120. The first version appears to be the same as the Premier 110 with the overhang above the front grille. By 1960, a new round speaker grille was introduced with a "fan guard" protector over the speaker. Another version features a trapezoid grille with the "Premier" logo with two large circle graphics. In the early to mid-1960s, six knobs were introduced with separate volume and tone controls along with speed and intensity controls for the tremolo. Later variations include a two-tone woodgrain/tweed combo with a trapezoid grille and an all woodgrain model with a large square speaker grille.
