- double cutaway semi-hollow body, gold-plated hardware, two DeArmond humbucker pickups, master volume knob, two separate tone control knobs, phase switch on bass bout, pickup balance/blend switch on treble bout, available in Natural, Nutmeg, or Walnut Green finish, mfg. 1968-1972.
Thunderhead (Model K-1460) with vibrato was introduced in 1968. In 1970, the Thunderhead changed designation to K-1213; the Thunderhead with vibrato was designated K-1212. In 1971, Electric Storm models were offered in Red, Nutmeg, and Black. In the Spring of 1971, the Thunderhead changed its designation to K-1233; the Thunderhead with vibrato was designated K-1234.
