OVATION LEGEND (MODEL 1117) Description
- spruce top, round soundhole, 5-stripe bound body, leaf pattern rosette, 5-piece mahogany/maple neck, 14/20-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with pearl diamond/dot inlay, walnut bridge, walnut veneer on peghead, 3-per-side gold tuners, available in Black, Natural, Sunburst, or White finish, mfg. 1972-1999.
In 1994, Cherry Cherryburst and Tobacco Sunburst finishes were introduced, bound ebony fingerboard replaced original parts/design, Sunburst and White finishes were discontinued.
