OVATION ULTRA (MODEL 2178) Description
- single cutaway deep contour GS body, AA grade solid Sitka spruce top, scalloped LX bracing, multiple soundholes on either side of the fingerboard inlaid in five-piece extoic hardwood layering, five-piece mahogany/maple neck, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot and diamond inlays, black headstock overlay, three-per-side chrome tuners, walnut bridge, Ovation High-Output pickup, OP Pro preamp, available in Black, Black Cherry Burst, or Vintage Amber finish, 25.25 in. scale, mfg. 2008 only.
This guitar was partially assembled overseas, shipped to the U.S. midway through production, and completed in Ovation's plant.
