-grand concert 00-12 fret style body, VTS solid European spruce top, solid Guatemalan rosewood back and sides, standard "X" scalloped bracing, round soundhole with abalone multi-stripe rosette, grained ivoroid binding, Abalone with multi-stripe top inlay, multi-stripe back and side inlay, D45 golden era back purfling, solid genuine mahogany neck with modified "V" shape, 12/20-fret solid bound ebony fingerboard with custom snowflake and block design in abalone with pearl inlay, slotted headstock with Guatemalan rosewood overlay with alternate torch abalone pearl inlay, logo stamped on back of headstock, three-per-side golden age bright nickel side mount tuners with ivoroid buttons, modern pyramid ebony bridge, bone bridge pins with abalone dots, no pickguard, label signed and sequenced by CFM IV, available in polished gloss finish with satin, 1.8125 in. nut, 24.9 in. scale, limited run of 50 instruments, hardshell case included, mfg. 2017 only.
This NAMM Show Special model is inspired by an instrument of George Bauer, who was a Philadelphia luthier around 1890-1910.
