- Dreadnought 14-fret body style, solid adirondack spruce top, solid three-piece back with certified cherry wings and pacific bigleaf flame maple wedge, solid certified cherry sides, round soundhole with Style 28 rosette, grained ivoroid binding, multiple black/white boltaron top and side inlay, B/W boltaron back inlay, Style 35 back purfling with black fiber strip on each side, genuine mahogany neck with low profile, 14/20-fret ebony fingerboard with Style 42 abalone snowflake inlays, ebony headstock overlay with inlaid Canadian nickel, three-per-side nickel open geared tuners with butterbean buttons, ebony belly bridge, white bridge pins with black dots, black pickguard, label signed by CFM IV and numbered in sequence, polished gloss finish, 1 11/16" in. nut, 25.4 in. scale, blue hardshell case included mfg. 2014 only.
The SSC-D35-14 is the first instrument in a series of NAMM Show Special guitars created specifically for the Canadian marketplace in 2014. It has since been followed up by the SSC-OM35-15 in 2015.
