- orchestra body style, solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, round soundhole with rope pattern rosette (1/9/1 grouping), five-ply top binding, single-ply back binding with rosewood outer layer (1930-31) or black outer layer (1932-33), black backstripe, mahogany neck, 14/20-fret ebony fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, solid headstock with three-per-side banjo-style tuners with ivoroid buttons (1930-31) or regular right angle tuners (1931-33), ebony belly bridge, black bridge pins, small tortoiseshell pickguard (1930-31) or larger tortoiseshell pickguard (1932-33), available in Natural or Sunburst finish, 25.4 in. scale, total production of 765 instruments, mfg. 1930-33.
Martin also produced one OM-18T in tenor configuration (1931).
